I am a composition of all the things I have learned in my life. Finding new teachers and interesting ideas brings me joy. It feels as if I’ve unlocked a new level of my relationship with the Creator, like He was opening up a new part of Him to me.
Finding Paulo Coehlo was such a moment in my life. It felt like finding a jewel in a field. The freshness of the thoughts explained in his writings felt like someone had loosened a belt tied around my mind and every time I read another of his books, I feel even more expansions in my thinking.
So as some of you may know, I am constantly learning and improving on myself. Some ask me why and I say; staying the same is like burying my talents in the ground without improving it so that it can be profitable to the one who gave me the talents.
If you have read the parable of the talents, you’ll understand the above statement. If you haven’t read it here it is: Matthew 25:14-30
Summary: “First and foremost, the Parable of the Talents teaches us that we are put on Earth to work. This is evident not only in this particular parable, but in several other Bible stories. God rewards those who put considerable effort into bettering their lives and the lives of those in their community.” – Geneva College, Everyday Living Blog.

This is why I am always learning and expanding my knowledge. Attached is an image of the latest books I’ve read (listened to) from Paulo Coehlo, reading them felt like a dip in a cool waterfall after a long walk through a barren desert.
I hope you find some encouragement in my post. Life has a way of bringing you answers to your questions in another person’s words.
