The conversations around climate change and the actions to improve the condition of our atmosphere has steadily become mainstream with companies and businesses championing innovation into carbon emissions reduction, water purification, carbon capture, plastic waste reduction, single use items recycling, sustainable agriculture, etc.

The African opinion has recently been thrown into the spotlight since Africa is one of the lowest polluters in the world with traditionally climate friendly traditions and yet it’s been advised to adopt climate safe practices that hamper Africa’s ability to grow rapidly through industrialization.

Young businesses in Africa are now looking at sustainability as a way to earn a living and build a career. But I ask, what do we know about sustainability?
