It’s not about being happy for me, happiness is dangerous. Happiness can be callous and self serving to the detriment of others.

For me it’s about being peaceful.
From a place of peace I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I can observe better, listen better, analyze better, react better.
It’s from a place of peace that I am a better leader.

I believe that this is one of the reasons why Jesus left us His peace, not His Happiness (John 14:27) which is described as a bearable yoke (Matthew 11:29)
